I am not as good at parting with my sewing/quilting things. A friend of mine suggested that she removes the extra garbage in her house on a weekly basis- not just her regular garbage but the less obvious stuff that piles up too. Sometimes, these are things to be recycled or donated and other times not.
What a nice giveaway.
Regards,
Annaquiltmom annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01976120921532056369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1179661405906978472.post-76916904761945610852009-07-20T08:19:21.372-04:002009-07-20T08:19:21.372-04:00Thanks for becoming a follower of my blog and for ...Thanks for becoming a follower of my blog and for joining my giveaway. When we have things that we no longer want/need we take them to my husband's work. One of the clients there (he works with developmentally delayed adults) has a project of collecting things to take to Goodwill. We put our things in her barrel and you would think we'd given her a million dollars. Each item that goes in her barrel brings her so much excitement that I like to find things to take to her. She then takes them to Goodwill (with the help of a job coach) and they give her a receipt showing that she donated - and she is thrilled.

Now I'll become your follower - that's two things I've done today. :-)JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12621061028973446378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1179661405906978472.post-19558055995461699072009-07-18T15:06:57.017-04:002009-07-18T15:06:57.017-04:00What a great give-away! Decluttering and Recycling are on my agenda this year. I use selvages and narrow sturdy strips in my garden to tie up my tomatoes. Old hand towels are now replacing Swiffer pads. Small batting scraps are perfect for dusting and cleaning excess oil from my quilting machine. These are the batting bits left from piecing larger batting scraps.
Happy sewing!Lindahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08450792092084530798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1179661405906978472.post-34079924856969915972009-07-16T22:11:54.240-04:002009-07-16T22:11:54.240-04:00Clothes usually go to the second hand shop.Clothes usually go to the second hand shop.Novahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01869578497735309120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1179661405906978472.post-37727548744345784732009-07-16T20:36:40.861-04:002009-07-16T20:36:40.861-04:00You have 3 great-looking books that I don't ha...You have 3 great-looking books that I don't have, so count me in!
