What's on your Design Wall?

Judy L. has challenged her blog readers to post photos of their design wall, especially those with projects with "lengthy visits."  I have two walls with heavy flannel that I use for design walls. The valentine wall-hanging has been on my wall for a couple of weeks. It is so close to being finished. I stalled out on my border choice. I'm over that. Just need to sew the border to the top and DONE!

I just added these blocks this week. This is my Firecrackers top. It is long and narrow. I'm thinking about moving the last row to the side making it wider, but shorter. I'm also auditioning this fabric for an outer border. Not sure if it's the look that I want. I started work on another project and will let this one mature a bit. On Monday, I'm off on a quilting retreat (YEA)  Neither project will travel with me, so they are destined to stay on the design wall until next weekend. A couple of quilt shop visits are planned so I may look for another border fabric for Firecrackers.

I'll be back in a couple of days. This is the second year that we've tried to make the trip to Brenda's cabin. I'll be working on Autumn Ridge in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Take care!
