It's that time again! It's SewCalGal's Pet's On Quilts quilt show. Anyone can enter the quilt show. Here is a link to the rules and the linky box to enter your photo. There are over 40 links listed today. I'm headed there as soon as I do my post to "view" the quilts and pets.Sponsors have generously donated many wonderful prizes for participants and visitors of the quilt show. Make show you enter to win one of these goodies. Hey, it's even ok to vote for Rusty and our LSU quilt this Saturday and Sunday for the Viewer's Choice Award.
Here is my buddy and friend, Rusty. He loves quilts, but does not like cameras.
"You want me to do what, Mom? Why can't we both lay on the sofa and look at the quilt with our eyes closed?"
"Ok. Ok. I'm stepping on the quilt."
"Are you satisfied now? I'll do it, but I won't like it:)"
Thanks, Darlene for another fun Pets on Quilts event!
He does look upset that you made him do that. ha! :)
ReplyDeletehe is such a sweetie!
Rusty did a very good job! What a cutie. o:) Neat quilt too!
ReplyDeleteOh, Rusty, it's such hard work being handsome. Everyone wants to take your photo! There's just no peace.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so cute - got to love the dachshunds!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE little dog. And an adorable post. Oh, maybe the quilt is too - I don't know cause I was too busy looking at Rusty. (When I was little we had a dashhound named Rusty.)
ReplyDeletehe is so cute, and he looks great on the quilt, but he is saying what my dogs say. The minute I lay on the couch I have a dog blanket..
ReplyDeleteOh how funny, he looks like "is this right". He's so cute and maybe he'll come around as a model. One of my dogs is terrified of the camera, I had to stalk her to get a picture for the show. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteRusty does look a little peeved with you; but, he is a good sport. So sweet!
ReplyDeleteOH, poor sweetie - you can see it in his eyes, but what a sport. Thank you Rusty.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!
ReplyDeletePaulette
He's adorable but obviously not very happy with you. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh Rusty, you did a great job posing for the camera. I know you don't like to get your picture taken, but thank you for letting your wonderful mom take a picture of you on her beautiful quilt. Fun to see you in the Pets on Quilts Show. And, you are so good looking too!

He's such a cutie! I hope you gave him some nice rubs for being so cooperative.
ReplyDeleteVery cute my daughters love him. The expressions are just devine and soooo appropriate. The quilt is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweety!
ReplyDeleteAwww, sweet little Rusty :-) I'm surprised to see any critter being shy of the camera, they're usually such hams! And I'm loving your new sewing studio, wow!
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't look very happy, but he was willing to do what you asked. :)
ReplyDeleteRusty is just too cute! We used to have a short haired red just like him and he was camera shy also. Beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute and has obviously got a sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteAn LSU dog! I'll have to show this to my kids' high school band director. He's a vociferous LSU fan in Gator/Seminole country. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! What a cute post! I'm still giggling!
ReplyDeletePoor Rusty looks traumatized!!!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Made me giggle!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's too cute even if he's a little camera shy! Anda fter seeing so many pets in this show, I have to say that cats seem to enjoy posing much more than dogs do...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Jennifer :)
love the second last photo. He has an adorable face. What animal cruelty making him lay on the quilt for a photo.
ReplyDeleteHi! Rusty looks so lovely but like my Hanna needs encourage to model!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt too!
Rusty is adorable. You've got great pics of him. Your quilt is beautiful with the purple and yellow color combo.
ReplyDeleteTaking pictures of pets can be really difficult - please tell Rusty he did a great job ;-)) He's adorable!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteRusty did a great job of posing on that quilt for you. He does look a bit peeved though.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so cute once you got him on the quilt! Put the camera away and he'll always give you a cute look!
ReplyDeleteOh how funny to have a pet that you have to coax in front of the camera!
ReplyDeleteRusty looks so loveable. What a nice dog to pose for you.
ReplyDeleteRusty looks like a sweet little guy. Great quilt!
ReplyDeleteI think Rusty's mom must have told him NOT to get on the quilt before!! So cute!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, being an Arkansas Razorback makes it a little tough to vote for LSU... j/k. Nice job and cute little dog!
ReplyDeleteRusty, you deserve an extra treat for this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous quilt! And Rusty did a great job modeling :)
ReplyDeleteAhh poor Rusty, what hard work! Better get Rusty a bone for being such a good baby =)
ReplyDeleteOh Becky this is too cute!! He did a very good job :-)
ReplyDeletePerhaps he would prefer to enjoy that quilt in private...
ReplyDeleteRusty looks so sweet....oh that nose & soulful eyes! What is it about dogs? Sometimes I think I'd like to have a whole bunch....then I remember the one I have!
ReplyDeleteOh poor lil sweetie so camera shy. He is darling and looks so cute on your quilt.
ReplyDeleteDachshund's long noses photograph so well and Rusty is not exception!
ReplyDeleteRusty's expressions still crack me up. Silly puppy is so camera shy.
