Sew Mama Sew Give-away

It's giveaway week at Sew Mama Sew blog.  Blog giveaways are great fun.  It's a quick and fast way to meet new bloggers and discover new blogs.  If this is your first visit to my blog, WELCOME!  I've been on a bit of a blog holiday and hope to quickly get back to regular blogging.  Dear hubby and I have recently moved to the northeast corner of the state of Georgia.  We have a new Hometown. We are exploring the area, taking in new events, and meeting new folks. To celebrate our new Hometown, my giveaway includes two charm packs of  HOMETOWN by Sweetwater for Moda.

Charm packs lend themselves to lots of projects. One of my favorite projects for charm pack  is the Schnibbles patterns by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.   This weekend has been cold and rainy. The Schnibble pattern  Winter White seemed the perfect pattern for Hometown and the weather in my new hometown.

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment  telling me the name of your hometown and something about it.  For a second chance, leave an additional comment  about  your favorite Christmas movie.   Giveaway will end on Friday, December 13th.  The winner will be notified by email on Saturday , December 14th. International entries are welcome.

Visit the giveaway page at Sew Mama Sew. There are two categories of giveaways, supplies  and handmade items.  Good luck and enjoy visiting the many, many blogs!

Oh, I was born, grew up and live now in really, really small towns... Born & raised in the Netherlands, live in Hungary now. Every town has it's pro's and cons, there are none worth mentioning really...

Thanks for the giveaway!

My hometown is Battle Creek, Michigan. It's the home of Kelloggs and Tony the Tiger. Most of my family worked there and I spent many times touring the plant and waving at mom and dad.

My hometown is Litchfield, IL. It's a small town between St. Louis, MO and Springfield, IL. It has so many trains going through it you can't cross town and go back without being stopped.

My favorite movie is Christmas Vacation.

My original hometown, Saugerties NY, was the location for Woodstock '94. I was 10 at the time, and my family walked the mile from my house to the venue and walked right in - no tickets, no one there to check for tickets! It was a mud-fest!

Enjoy your new hometown! Thanks for the chance!

I grew up in Port Washington, WI. It's a beautiful town on Lake Michigan with a beach, breakwater, and pier. It's one of those places you appreciate a lot more when you leave :)
