Happy Monday! Last week I began putting the blocks for Patches and Pinwheels (Swap 2) on my design wall. A group of us traded strips and blocks of Civil War repro fabric. The blocks are truly scrappy. The blocks are all made - 169 blocks. This is a huge quilt. It probably is bigger than my design wall. This quilt has been a work in progress for several years. There is lots of mindless piecing on this one. That's great for our group sewing (Thimbles) where there's lots of talking. It's exciting to think that this one is getting closer to becoming a quilt. This is looking really good!
I luv this quilt. I need to take it off my bed and give it a bath. It has lots of Willie fur on it. It is such a big quilt. gotta luv those Bonnie quilts!
What a colorful wall you have. I love mindless sewing: I use it to give my brain a rest when I have been doing the kind of sewing/quilting that takes concentration.
Look at all those fabulous fabrics. That is going to be a treasure when it's done. I love the scrappiness. What size are the blocks?
I love scrappy quilts and yours is going to be great. Can't wait to see your progress each week.
It's looking good. I love it!!
Looks great. I love all the scrappiness.
From what I can see....that is turning into a beautiful quilt. Perhaps this one is like a fine wine....it gets better with age.
I hope old projects get better with time....I'm counting on it myself!
