Another Sewing Container

This great sewing tin was found at a local antique shop. I just love how it looks. Before I began quilting, I sewed lots of garments. I used lots of Simplicity patterns. Inside the tin, I store some of my buttons. Most of these were from my mother's sewing box. She cut buttons off of any item of clothing before it became  a rag.

i love your 'new' container!! did you find this after your trip to the Quilting Rummage Sale? Recently, while traveling to visit a friend in Wisconsin, i found some white, pale yellow and green-trimmed enamel basins and pans for project storage!!

Love your containers. And those buttons are great! What is it about a box of buttons? I just love 'em.
